SHADOWLAND BY ALYSON NOEL

Ever and Damen have traveled through many past lives, too many to count. They have also fought off the world’s darkest enemies just so they could be together forever.  However  just when their long-awaited and yearned for destiny is finally within reach, a powerful curse falls upon Damen…one that could destroy everything.  If Ever and Damen have a single touch of their hands or a soft brush of their lips it could mean sudden death which would mean plunging Damen into the Shadowland for the rest of eternity.  Both are desperate to break the curse and in turn save Damen. So Ever decides to  immerse herself in magick and she manages to get help from an unexpected source…....a gorgeous surfer named Jude. Ever and Jude have only just met, so why does he seem so familiar? Even despite Ever's loyalty to Damen she finds herself being drawn to Jude. Jude is of course gorgeous! He is a green eyed golden boy who has magical talents and a mysterious past too. Ever has always truly believed that Damen is her true soulmate, her only true love in the world and she still believes that, but Damen is pulling away from her more and more she finds her connection and her attraction to Jude becoming stronger and stronger. Ever's growing feelings for Jude seriously test her relationship and love for Damen.

So in this book we have the new mysterious but gorgeous Ever, which one should she choose? Is it safe for her to be dabbling in magic? Will her dabbling improve her situation or only make things worse. Can she lift the curse that keeps her and Damen from touching? I think the idea for that curse is a really unique one! It is at times funny the lengths they go to, to be together yet not to touch. It makes your heart ache for them in parts and you go through all the emotions along with Ever. This book was again a tad slow moving for me, but i persevered and it was worth it in the end.....Wheres the next book?.......
