BLURB from Goodreads
A no-nonsense Earthling corporal, Nike accepts a mission to destroy the winged-people of Cupidis to give her species a new home planet.

A spoiled Cupidian prince, Edonys gets whatever he wants until his dying father tells him he must choose a mate and take his rightful place as king.

Nike and her reconnaissance crew's space cruiser lands upon Cupidis, and they are taken to the royal palace. The king's decline leads her to believe Mission: Conquest will be easy. Edonys refuses his father’s last request to fall in love, but Nike isn’t anyone. She’s bold and different than any Cupidian female. As Nike and Edonys's quests intertwine, an Earthling and a Cupidian will find it easier to ignore the pull of gravity than the pull of love.

MY REVIEW
I was gifted this e-book by the author in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
The cover is really kind of pretty, I love the purple feathers which represent the Cupidian race of people with their wings and feathers and there's the Cupidis planet in the background which is their peaceful planet.
Nike is in charge of a mission to take a look at the cupidian's and their planet. She then needs to report back to her commander giving the information and decide how best to attack and take over the planet for the people from earth to settle on instead.
Edonys is the Prince, he is about to decide on which female will become his mate. Once he has decided his father can pass away in peace.
When Nike and Edonys meets everything changes. Can Nike stop a war against the cupidian's? Could Edony's have found his mate?
Once again this novella is well written and has plenty of things happening to hold your interest.
So did I enjoy it? Yes Would I recommend it? As a short read, yes. Would I read more by Cherie Reich? Yes

This novella is also available with the other two novellas prior to it in an all-in-one book.
