BLURB from Goodreads:
Sierra Livingston’s got it bad for her sister’s best friend, Levi Mason—the boy who carries his drumsticks in his pocket, marches with the school’s band, and taps his feet to whatever beat runs through his head. Sierra racks her brain for ways to impress the sexy drummer, but the short skirts and bursting cleavage don’t seem to cut it.
When Sierra gets paired with Levi’s sister, Brea, for a mentorship program, they strike a deal. In exchange for Sierra keeping her mouth shut about Brea ditching the program, Brea lets Sierra dig for more info on Levi to help get the guy of her dreams.
But when Sierra discovers Levi no longer plays the drums, his family has moved into a trailer, and he’s traded in his Range Rover for a baby blue moped, Sierra’s not sure if she can go through with violating his privacy. She’ll have to find the courage to ask him straight out—if he’s willing to let her in—and explore other ways to seduce the school’s band geek.

EXCERPT
“Boys against girls?” Zak offers, saying it into Zoe’s ear loud enough so
that we all hear him.
“Heck no!” Zoe says, elbowing him in the gut. “You invited Sierra. I say
you have to have her on your team.”
Way to throw me under the bus! But I really don’t blame her either. I
shove her shoulder, and she winks at me.
Levi opens his mouth, but it’s Zak who speaks up first. “I’m cool with
that. We’ll still kick your butts.” He throws his head back, grazing my knee
with his dark brown hair. “Right, Sierra?”
“Uh … ” I’m so horrible at trash talk. Especially since I have no skills
whatsoever to back it up. “Sure?”
“That’s the spirit!” He pumps the air with his controller, then starts
scrolling through all these options of scary guys with lizard tails and spikes
and crap.
“Go with Jin,” Levi whispers at me. I jolt from the warm breath hitting
my neck and then mentally smack myself for being so jumpy. “He’s the easiest to
control and his moves are pretty kickass.”
“I don’t even know what buttons to push.”
He smiles, and my butt melts into the cushion. “Just hit them all. Seems
to work for me.”
“Hey, no pointers, traitor.” Zoe reaches over and whacks Levi’s knee,
then snuggles back into Zak.
Levi helps me pick out the Jin character guy, who is this normal buff
dude without a shirt. No spikes or tail, so at least he’s not scary looking.
But he makes this noise like “Hoiyah!” when you select him. I giggle.
The screen flashes to this lava pit thing, and Zak is talking about how
he’ll tag me when he needs to regenerate, so I can sit tight till I see my
shirtless guy come on. But I’m shaking some freaky nerves as the game counts
down to “Fight!”
