Sixteen-year-old Rayna sees angels, and has the medication and weekly therapy sessions to prove it. Now, in remission, Rayna starts fresh at a new school, lands a new job, and desperately tries for normalcy. She ignores signs that she may be slipping into the world she has tried so hard to climb out of. But these days, it’s more than just hallucinations that keep Rayna up at night. Students are dying, and she may be the only one who can stop it. Can she keep her job, her sanity, and her friends from dying at the hands of angels she can't admit to seeing?
So after seeing the fantastic cover and blurb of A Shimmer Of Angels, I thought you might like to take a look at the following two book covers!
Published 2012 by Month 9 Books
What can I say? Wow! I really love these covers. I had to share them with you and share (have a little waffle on) with you what I think to them. A little "Cover Comments" if you like.
I love how colourful and eye-catching they are. They all have a different yet complimentary shade. They all have females, or rather what could be Angelic beings on the covers.
The font of the book title, and authors name are simple yet elegant at the same time. There is an ethereal, floaty, magical suggestion made by the covers.
So my usual Cover Comment Question, Would I pick it up from a book shelf? Definitely, all three of them!
I admit to being "sold" on the books with just the cover, before I even read the blurbs. Which sadly, there is only a blurb available for Book One.
