Sophie mercer discovered she was a witch three years ago, it has got her into a few scrapes too. Her father hears about the incident and it is decided as a punishment to send her to Hex Hall. hex Hall is a school for the wayward "Prodigium" (Prodigium = witches, wizards,shifters , etc) By the end of the very first day Sophie  has made three powerful enemies who just happen to look like supermodels too. Sophie also has a crush on a gorgeous warlock and her roomate turns out to be the only vampire in the school and the most hated person at school. Sophie soon learns that there is a predator at the school who is killing the students, her roomate is the number one suspect. As all the mysteries converge Sophie has prepare for the largest threat of all, an ancient secret society that wishes to kill all the prodigium!
This book has all types of supernaturals or prodigium as they are called. The book covers crushes, romance, bullying. It has both mystery and suspense too. Definitely worth a read. The school base is a good idea and a bit different to other books in that it is a school for unruly supernaturals!
