BLURB from Goodreads
When half-demon Xavier calls in the favour Elena owes him, it seems easy enough, steal Jack the Ripper's 'From Hell' letter away from a Toronto collector who had himself stolen it from the Ripper evidence boxes. But nothing in the supernatural world is ever as simple as it seems. Elena accidentally triggers a spell placed on the letter, and opens a dimensional portal into Victorian London, releasing zombies, disease, and maybe a notorious serial killer himself.
MY REVIEW
Broken by Kelley Armstrong is number six in the Kelley Armstrong series. In this book we are back with Elena Hooray...sorry but I really love the books with Elena and Clay in the most! So Elena is pregnant, and naturally is on edge about it. She is happy to be pregnant and everything would be perfect except, she has never heard of another female werewolf let alone a pregnant one, or one going on to give birth. Thankfully to take her mind off the pregnancy worries she has a job that needs her attention. At first the job seems simple enough, all she needs to do is retrieve a stolen letter. The stolen letter was allegedly written by Jack the Ripper. The letter is special as it contains a portal to Victorian London's Underground. Unfortunately Elena accidently triggers the portal and lets out a vicious killer and a couple of thugs who just happen to be zombies.
Elena needs to find a way to send the killer and zombies back as well as sealing the portal.
