This book is the fourth in the "Women of the Otherworld Series". It follows Paige Winterbourne again. This time see's Paige trying to set up her own new modern coven. It deals with the whole aftermath of her mothers death.
The major problem she faces is that someone is killing the young teenage offspring of the powerful Cabal's. Paige naturally has more information and is more connected with the Cortez Cabal as her boyfriend Lucas is none other than the rebellious son and unwilling heir to it. However where paige and Lucas are concerned love is not blind. Paige has her eyes wide open as she is slowly drawn into the hunt for a killer. Paige comes up against shamans, demons and goons aplenty. The battle is so chillling that Paige has to grow up and become a young women very quickly, that is if she actually survives long enough to do so!
