When a movie crew arrives unexpectedly to shoot a vampire film over the summer, Erin’s small town world changes forever. Erin is positive she has seen the star, James Linkin before in a thirty year old TV show. He hasn’t aged a day. How is this possible? Erin is determined to find out, but how will James handle the scrutiny of an all too intelligent teenage girl?

MY REVIEW
I received this e-book directly from the Author in exchange for my honest review a while ago, and I finally got around to reading it. Apologies to Emma Meade for taking so long to get around to it.
The cover reminds me of an old fashioned movie poster, which really fits in with the book. I would say the young woman on the cover is Erin Harris. I really like the cover and think it fits the book very well. The blurb  describes the book well, and does tug on your curiousity to make you want to know more.
I did enjoy the book, it really is a case of James Linkin’s movie imitating his life at the moment, or is it the other way around? So Copperfield is a small run down, blink and you’d miss it as you drive through kind of place! That is until a movie crew descends on it, bringing jobs and money to the town as well as . . . . a dangerous predator? I can’t say a great deal more without giving away parts of the book you should read for yourself.
I like the characters of Erin and Nick, they are brother and sister as well as good friends. They are both similar in character. Both loners who are literally counting the days until they can get out of Copperfield. Could the movie help them escape Copperfield?
I enjoyed reading this book, the storyline is a good standard, and I think fans of the Twilight Type of romance will enjoy this book. The book is more of a chick lit style and is a light, it’s not a deep dark tale, which makes it an easy fast paced read.
So did I enjoy the book? Yes. Would I recommend the book? Yes for Twilight fans, and lover of chick lit etc. this book is ideal. Would I read a Bk#2? Possibly, if there is a Bk#2, the way this book ends the story could end here or maybe even be picked up and start again a year or so later. Would I read more by Emma Meade? I think I would certainly take a good look at other books by her so yes.

Insider News!
I have recently (since writing the above review) been told by the Author, Emma Meade that there will be a short novel coming out about Erin sometime in the summer of this year (2013). So keep your eyes open for that one, I'm hoping to be featuring it on my blog.
