BLURB from Goodreads
“Smokin’ Hydrophonic” is a collection of short stories written by Jeffrey “Boosie” Bolden. “Smokin’ Hydrophonic” contains many different short stories ranging from many different topics from a young, black urban superhero who despite his bad past has to come to terms with being the Earth’s champion to a New Orleans native who has to fend for his life in a post-apocalyptic New Orleans to a Baltimore drug dealer who has to fend for his corner, fighting enemies and friends, but all these stories have one thing in common: music.
Every story was inspired by a specific song Jeffrey “Boosie” Bolden has heard, and he took that song and contemplated on what that specific song made him think about, artists ranging from Pimp C to Lil’ Wayne to LOX. And thus the idea of “Smokin’ Hydrophonic”, a title that was inspired by the late, great Southern legend Chad “Pimp C” Butler himself, was born.
