Sierra was born of three races and to save a rapidly dying planet. Sierra is found by a gentle kind man shortly after birth and he raises her so she is totally unaware of her true heritage. She has to learn to use the magic she has been born with, and use it with Mother Earth to save the planet. There is an ancient prophecy that says it will take " three of three worlds" to save the planet, who and where are the others and how can Sierra find all the answers alone?
This is a really good plot line. Sierra's tale is really well written , its a shame we don't learn more of the earlier life tales of Ayla, Geffen, Dayol and Kreesa. I will admit that though I really enjoyed the book on a whole, that there was a section that was a bit slow, and over descriptive for me as I wanted the story to move on a little quicker. Then I got to the point at the end where it ended so quickly I didn't want it to!
There are also some typing errors in this, the most irritating being when Sierra is referred to as Sara near the end of the book.
On the whole the book is definitely worth reading.
Splintered Sierra's legacy is available from Amazon.co.uk for £2.14 on kindle
