Because of what you are, the Believers will hunt you down.
A storm is brewing on the streets of LA, one that has intensified since a tragic and deadly confrontation claimed an innocent life.
While Gabriel Stewart trains his army of teen psychics to stop Alexander Reese--the obsessed leader of the Believers--the fanatical church becomes more bent on the annihilation of all Indigo and Crystal children. They're silencing the voices of the telepathic hive, one soul at a time, with frightening experiments cruelly executed on vulnerable minds.
When the Believers torture a mysterious homeless boy, Oliver Blue, they brainwash him into betraying his own. The boy becomes a deadly pawn to take Gabriel down. As the fires of chaos burn around him, Gabe is running out of time. He'll need to confront his past--and the man who made him--before the hope of peace for the future is silenced forever.

Because of what you are, the Believers will hunt you down.
Voices told Lucas Darby to run. Voices no one else can hear. He’s warned his sister not to look for him, but Rayne refuses to let her troubled brother vanish on the streets of LA. In her desperate search, she meets Gabriel Stewart, a runaway with mysterious powers and far too many secrets. Rayne can’t explain her crazy need to trust the strange yet compelling boy—to touch him—to protect him even though he scares her.
A fanatical church secretly hunts psychic kids—gifted “Indigo” teens feared to be the next evolution of mankind—for reasons only “the Believers” know. Now Rayne’s only hope is Gabe, who is haunted by an awakening power—a force darker than either of them imagine—that could doom them all

ABOUT THE BOOKS
The
Believer’s Mysterious Ward 8
In
Crystal Fire, the
final book in the Hunted series, more is revealed about the Believers, the
fanatical organization bent on the annihilation of Indigo and Crystal kids.
They fear these psychic teens are the next evolution of mankind and use their
mental facility at Haven Hills to screen for these teens and hold them against
their will in the bowels of the building. A secret elevator travels below
ground to a virtual prison of Indigos where one woman rules.
The
face of the Believers for most of Crystal Fire is
Dr Fiona Haugstad, the cruel doctor who experiments on the captured teens. They
are no more than lab rats to her. Once she gets her hands on Oliver Blue and
performs terrible sensory deprivation experiments on him, she sees that she can
make her mark on science through Oliver and immortalize herself. In essence,
she remaps how his brain works (through torture) to turn him into a more
powerful psychic who can teleport. Dr Fiona wonders if she can do this to
Oliver, why can’t anyone be turned into a psychic with the same abilities as an
Indigo? She goes rogue and her ego is unchecked with no one looking over her
shoulder, not even the man at the helm of the Believers, Alexander Reese. She’s
been operating without his knowledge because she doesn’t want to be stopped.
Here are some images I used to inspire
Dr Fiona. I saw her as a woman with an ego, highly intelligent, aggressive,
attractive to men and a manipulator. Laura Linney or Helena Bonham Carter
worked to inspire me. Great actresses.
And here is a photo that inspired the feel
of Ward 8, the below ground stronghold of the Believers, under Haven Hills
mental hospital.
The CW TV channel has a new show (after
Arrow) that is very similar to my Hunted series. It’s called “The Tomorrow
People.” Although their psychic teens hide below ground
and secretly fight against a dark organization bent on their destruction
(fearing they are a more superior evolution of mankind – ie Humanity 2.0),
their story is not linked to Indigos as my books do. If you query Indigo Child
on the internet, you’ll get millions of hits because many people believe that
the next evolution of mankind already walks among us. Count me in on that
theory.
What do you believe? Is man evolving?
Do
you know someone who is psychic or perhaps an Indigo?
