The Dark And Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan
Annah would like to forget many things, like, the look on her sister's face when A,nnah left her in the Forest of Hands and Teeth, her first glimpse of the horde as they take over the Dark City, and the sear of barbed wire that would scar her for life. But the one thing she would like to forget the most is the morning Elias left her to join the Recruiters. Her life seems empty and pointless without him. She feels as though she mayas well be dead when she meets Catcher, then she feels as if she has something to live for again. Catcher has his own secrets. Secrets that connect him to a past Annah wants to forget Annah has a chice canshe continue to live in this world that is covered in the blood of the living? or is death the only real escape form the Return?
I would say I enjoyed this book, the third in the series the most, it contained all the answers to the questions you had found yourself asking throughout the series of books. Its not as fast paced as the second book The Dead Tossed Waves, however it is not so slow as you sometimes think it will never get moving as with the first book The Forest Of hands and Teeth felt at times.
